In the heart of Montreal’s city center

Located just a two-minute walk from the central station of the Montreal metro (Berri-UQAM), the B&B is nestled in the heart of the Quartier Latin, which vibrates to the rhythm of festivals and cultural institutions: the Saint-Denis Theatre, the Cinémathèque québécoise, the Maison Théâtre, the Prospero Theatre and the Grande Bibliothèque du Québec, to name a few, welcome Montrealers and visitors all year-round, alongside the festive and lively Quartier des spectacles, the venue hosting over forty festivals throughout the year.

The B&B, in the peaceful setting of Saint-Christophe Street, is located in the heart of Montreal’s vibrant streets, within walking distance of the famous Sainte-Catherine Street, where cafés, restaurants and colourful terraces are all to be found. The B&B is easily accessible by public transportation and is the ideal place to discover a unique, fun and welcoming city.

Learn more about Montreal’s city centre.

The Downtown or Centre-Ville is a bustling area with a lot of personality. It features the province’s finest museums and skyscrapers, department stores, shopping malls, boutiques, restaurants and the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens. We love shopping, especially in the underground galleries, and we take a break at cocktail time and a sunbath on the terrace whenever the season allows it.

Here are some of the activities you may enjoy.

Enjoy the panoramic view of the city, the river and the surroundings at the Observatory at Place Ville Marie
Shopping on Sainte-Catherine Street, Canada’s longest shopping street.
See exhibitions in Montreal’s major museums and shop in their charming boutiques.
Discover the “underground city” in the vast pedestrian indoor network.
Join Montrealers in celebrating at one of the countless festivals.

Learn more about the Quartier Latin

The Quartier Latin has an intellectual and academic side, notably through the presence of its educational institutions, namely the many pavilions of the Université du Québec à Montréal, the Cégep du Vieux Montréal and the Institut de l’Imagerie et du Son (INIS), but also because of the many cultural institutions such as the Théâtre Saint-Denis, the Cinémathèque québécoise, the Maison Théâtre and the more recently opened Bibliothèque des Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ), in 2006.

Accessible via the Berri-UQAM metro station, the busiest in the network, the Quartier Latin is now a bustling student campus with its many cafés, restaurants and bars. It also has more than sixty terraces, some of them in the streets and others more secluded, which are worth discovering. Every year, the Quartier Latin hosts a number of festivals, including Montréal Complètement Cirque, as well as the OUMF festival, which celebrates the start of the new academic year in early September

Learn more about the Quartier des Spectacles

The Quartier des spectacles is located in downtown Montreal. It’s the city’s cultural heart. Within its boundaries, you will find the highest concentration and the greatest diversity of cultural venues in North America.

All year round, day or night, Montrealers and visitors head to the Quartier in droves, captivated and intrigued by its eight vibrant public spaces and no less than 40 festivals. Discover the Quartier des Spectacles.

Learn more about the Old Port

There is always something captivating in the Old Port. The major events that cannot be ignored follow one another but are unlike anything else. In addition, the Montréal Science Centre and Clock Tower Beach are the leading figures of many attractions visited by thousands of Montrealers as well as regional and international visitors. It is notably home to the Centre des Sciences de Montréal.

On reviendra.
